Diary 69
Diary
September 2nd
In the first half of September two litters will be born and the first litter will be from Makené and Monty.
The second Menetoh and Macgyver.
Last Friday I took Menetoh and Mona Lisa to Nele for an ultrasound.
Menetoh got so large and I was afraid for a large litter. Luckily she appeard to have four kittens of which one had hiccups ha ha ha.
Every time it had a hiccup it stretched its legs, funny to look at.
Mona Lisa is also pregnant of four and expects her kittens at the end of September.
I will have to keep an eye on the mothers they dare to run away with each others kittens.

All three the kittens from Perla and Macgyver have found a lovely home.
The first to leave was Nina, (no not my Nina) she now lives with the family De Groeve - De Hollander, together with the two children of the family and not to forget the ten year old cat Mazoet. She likes it there as you can see. I want to wish them good luck with their first pixie bob and thank them for the lovely pictures which I could receive the next day despite of their busy job with queen bees.

Lynx was the second to leave and she went to live at Holland with Bianca Schrijver - Polderman and their lovely (now still a puppy) Roxy.
That evening she appeared to have a fever and she started to snivel. Bianca took her to the vet who gave her two injections and after two hours she was a lot better. The next day she was eating again so that will be fine. I'm afraid I'm the culprit. The whole week I wasn't feeling well, no energy and muscle pain. Sunday morning I got up with a headache and a fever. One moment my nose is stuffed, the next moment it's running, you can't do much other than sit it out but that's the problem I can't sit still.

Noa has left Saturday, Arlette had brought her mother and two friends, he has been spoiled during the ride home. In the evening he was a little stressed, like he was having a fever but I think he was very tired. Just to be sure Arlette took him to the vet but everything was fine, this is the message she has sent me. Since his two sisters have left he is even more clinging then he already was, Nina missed the other two as well but since Noa left she was really searching and calling. Gino said what I was thinking, if that goes on we won't sleep much this night. After a while she calmed down but she stays very close to me and goes to sleep with me. The desk chair next to my bed the blanket in it and she falls asleep.
I got this update from her and I like to share him with you.:
Noa is a little rascal! With him the house is full of life, although he also sleeps a lot, but when we want to rest he comes into action and he demands his playtime, He likes to run full speed through all the rooms, to apport paper balls and hide them and to play with his toy mice. He also loves his scratching post, but he is so active he often slips off and then he grabs with his front legs just to stay on, very funny and he has strong legs, he can swing his way back up. He also loves to swing at the iron and I have pulled him of 100 times and each time he starts swinging again... I was sweating a lot but I didn't give up and eventually he rushed under the table like "you can't catch me". He realizes what he can and can't do, he is very clever, but he indeed has a mind of his own!
Outside he is not so tuff, at the slighest sound of movement he drops down, looks to me and I have to pick him up and bring him inside, but I'm glad he can tolerate his leash, then I can eventually let him walk on the terrace. He also gets a snack when he has had the leash on. He already knows where they are! When we can't find him we just have to open the closet and he is there.
Last week I was cleaning his litterbox outside and he was waiting inside and suddenly he started screaming... he had to go to the toilet and he waited until I was ready and waited until I put his box back and he rused into it. He is so clean, rather hold it up then do it somewhere in the house and ho sweet he communicated to me that I had to hurry to put his toilet back! He also helps me cleaning his box: when I scoop it out he starts digging wit his paws and I can't get angry because he can't link the box to something negative, but he is so nice to help. He doesn't understand that I go from the top into the box whele he has to go through the door and then he is digging from the top trying to get in that way.
Further he loves to swing on my earrings and Saturday he jumped to my ponytail, jumped off and now his 4 claws are into my back. We were really scared then and I don't think he will do that again, but he likes to eat from my hairs. He also prefers my mother's lap above mine and I'm very jealous at that, but I comfort myself with the idea that she has a better lap then I have! From me he gets 1000 hugs and kisses each day and only in the evening when my mother is sleeping, he comes to me.
That is in a nutshell how my sweetheart spends the day and of course with eating a lot. The last few days he washes himself thoroughly, finally because he didn't do that the first few days and that made me worried, but we know now that that was because of the stress and now he is he feeling home with us.
How is his sister lynx doing? And do you know how many kittens are on the way? I'm curious...Hoe maakt zijn zusje lynx het ? en weet je al hoeveel kittens er op komst zijn ? ben benieuwd…
